Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary was formed to aid homeless and abused domestic and farmed animals in the San Francisco Bay Area and the San Joaquin valley. We assist local humane societies and rescue groups with animals-primarily farmed animals-who, due to their breed, their health, or their personality, cannot be adopted into permanent homes.

Harvest Home currently is spending $1400 per month on direct animal maintenance for our 175 residents, plus we spend an additional $1200 per month on veterinary care. We are trying to raise an additional $1800 per month to put our animal care expenses into the black.

Please consider donating to help us with these critical costs. One time donations are gratefully appreciated, and monthly donations will go a very long way towards helping us to better meet our animals' needs.

Harvest Home has your fertilizer!

Are you searching for an eco-friendly fertilizer for your home garden? Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary can help. We are happy to offer raw rabbit and chicken manure materials to local gardeners. Our manure is rich in nutrients to help your fruits and vegetables grow. In the coming months, we will also have composted chicken manure available.
