How You Can Help

Truck

There are lots of ways you can help the animals at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, and animals everywhere.

Volunteer

We need volunteers! And if you love spending time with animals, what are you waiting for?

There are lots of ways you can volunteer your time, including:

  • Grooming, socializing, and playing with the rescued rabbits
  • Helping out around the property; mucking out barns, raking
  • pastures, cleaning litterboxes, and other fun tasks!
  • Assisting with our bimonthly "bunny health checks"
  • And lots more!

If you're interested in volunteering, please call 209-465-2985 or email Karen@harvesthomeanimal.org or Anne@harvesthomeanimal.org. Thank you!

Adopt a Lifestye that Helps Animals

Ducks

All of our rescued animals (except for the dogs and cats!) are animals used for food. Consider eliminating some or all of the animal products from your diet in order to save over a thousand animals over the course of your lifetime. In addition, opting for a vegetarian or vegan diet can save up to an acre of trees per year and vegetarians and vegans generate 1.5 fewer tons of carbon dioxide per year!
