Ralphy is one of the Concord breeder rabbits we recently rescued. Ralphy is Teddy’s son. Aren’t you ready to adopt him?

Teddy, one of our recent rescued rabbits from a Concord breeder, hates the idea of medications. Each day we must explain the importance of medications to Ted. Visit our Twitter Page for more updates on Teddy.

On Saturday, November 7 at the Tri Valley SPCA, Kathleen Hill, a well known and talented artist, is painting a portrait of one of our bunnies available for adoption and will join us to demonstrate her work in progress.  Kathleen combines her love of painting and her love of animals with a specialty in animal portraits. Kathleen’s work captures the uniqueness and wonder of her subjects.

Kathleen has generously offered to donate her finished portrait to us to help fund our rabbit rescue work. Come meet Kathleen, view her portraits, and adopt one of the adorable rabbits in her paintings!!! Come join the fun. There will be complimentary refreshments and snacks.

bunnyHarvest Home has rescued a number of rabbits from a breeder in Concord. Many are  neglected, thin and in need of medical care. They have lived their lives in tiny suspended wire cages, the females repeatedly impregnated, with no contact from other rabbits and no loving contact from humans.

Help is needed on many levels. We need donations to cover medical bills for spay/neuter surgeries, medications for infections throughout their bodies, mites, abscesses on their tender feet, eye infections and gastro intestinal issues. We need foster homes to open their doors to these sweet rabbits who have never known a kind word or gentle touch. And most of all, we need to find these rabbits permanent homes.
